Project Description: Construct a new bus barn for the City of Edmonton This consisted of a600,000 square foot facility, with multi phased excavations, by-pass pumping, 1000 meters of pressurized forcemain construction, complex detailed excavation(s), three-tiered subgrade / concrete base installation with geotechnical fabrics and textiles. Communication was critical on this project, due to the large amount of engineering challenges and site conditions. SDC provided weekly survey reports with 3-D modelling, as well as real-time digital as-built survey data for all underground utility work.
